Our first day for the Bluegrass 1000 adventure is a 325 mile jaunt down Intersate 71 to Louisville, KY.  Not a fun drive in a sports car, but necessary.   We left at 10:30am and with a lunch stop and a couple of additional pit stops we arrived at about 5 with road sounds buzzing in our ears.

Off we go... from northern Ohio to Louisville, KY.  My 2005 Morgan Roadster and Dick's 1996 aircooled Porsche

Upon arrival who do we see but Art and Patsy from Texas, fellow Morgan enthusiasts who were with us on the Great Lakes Pub Crawl earlier this summer.  Here they are sealing up their newest aquisition, a 1990 Chrysler's TC Maserati, a quite rare car he found along side the road one day this summer.

Tomorrow morning we gather at Bill Collin's Ford in Louisville for a "kick-off" breakfast and start the Bluegrass 1000.  The week looks like it will be filled with good fun and lots of interesting sights.
