Morganing in Kentucky for the Bluegrass 1000

Once again our little Morgan is on the road to new adventures.... this time with new faces and different cars.  Our friends, Dick and Judy are coming along in their air cooled Porsche 911 as we venture to Louisville, Kentucky to meet up with other folks with classic and special cars.  The Bluegrass 1000 is a charity event to raise money for the Bill Collins Parkinson's Center at Frazier Rehab Institute located at the Jewish Hospital/St. Mary's Medical Center in downtown Louisville, Ky.

The Road Trip is held over 5 days and will cover approximately 1000 kilometers within the state of Kentucky.  We travel only on paved back roads, no interstates (except to get there and back home again) and no night driving.  Our first night will be in Louisville, then we move to Bowling Green to stage day trips across the state.  The route path is unknown to us at the moment, but I am assured it will be interesting.  And, the weather looks pretty good as far as forcasts are predicting at the moment.

We will try to keep you posted on our adventure and progress during this first week of October by way of this blog.  If you like what you read here please send e-mail comments to me at mogpls8@gmail.com.  I'd love to know who's following us.
